PURPOSE: separates the College robes with unique textures for each "school" of magic. Optional manual install of Archmage variations and 1K textures for those who want them. Thanks for your time - you guys do some great work here. I had a big hand in the replacer version's integration with this update and I took the utmost care to enhance immersion. The Replacer version was made to integrate it with Skyrim in the smoothest way possible, giving appropriate robes to only those NPCs who made sense to have it, and with today's update we really think it's in a good position to enhance the vanilla College NPCs without overdoing it.
It has unique robes for each school of magic, with a clear sense of progression throughout the vanilla ranks (Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert and Master) along with two varieties of matching hoods and boots for each magic school. Skyrim does have its visual clipping issues anyway, so it wouldn’t be too out of character if the circlets clipped through the hoods.So, I've recently been helping a lot with this mod by babooncru, which provides 2K re-textures for the College Robes in all varieties. There might still be some clipping issues with certain smaller hoods and bigger circlets, but in general you shouldn’t see any visual inconveniences while wearing both items. It’s not just a mod that enables both things to work together, there were some visual changes involved in it. This mod allows them to work together quite well indeed, as the creator of the mod definitely put some effort into creating it, and you won’t have any clipping issues when wearing them. This amazing mod allows you to wear circlets with hoods.
They should still be compatible all at once, but bear this thought in mind anyway. If you notice anything from another game to have made it into my list, it’s because it fully deserves it.Īlso I didn’t notice any of these mods clashing or being incompatible with one another, but keep in mind that I didn’t try them all at the same time – I did so in batches. I’ve also tried to avoid adding highly rated mods that simply added clothing items from other games, like Naruto’s Akatsuki robes, for example. I’ve taken the liberty to filter out some inappropriate mods from this list to keep it SFW(sorry to disappoint!)
